Frequently Asked Questions

  • To get connected, complete this contact form, email drhaleybusch@nuance-therapy.com, or text/call (512) 348-7640. I’ll do my best to return your message the same day I hear from you.

  • My standard fee is $220 for a 50-minute therapy session. I offer extended 80-minute sessions at $352.

I reserve several spots on my caseload for sliding-scale clients, individuals who see me at a reduced rate. I hold these spots for clients whose financial situation would otherwise prevent them from seeking therapy. Please let me know during our 15-minute consultation call if your finances are a concern.

  • I’m an out-of-network provider, which means I don’t bill insurance directly. However, I am happy to provide you with a superbill - a monthly receipt of therapy services - for submission to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Many insurance companies will partially reimburse individuals for therapy costs with an out-of-network provider.

  • I recommend that new clients begin with 6-8 weekly sessions to support rapport-building. Depending on the therapy needs and goals, most clients either continue at a weekly cadence or reduce to biweekly sessions.

I recommend monthly or as-needed sessions for clients who have met their primary therapy goals but wish to maintain ongoing therapeutic support to maintain and achieve lasting therapy progress.

  • At this time, I am only offering virtual individual therapy to clients living in Texas or the 40+ states participating in PSYPACT.

  • As of January 2022, under the “No Surprises Act,” health care providers are required to inform individuals who are uninsured or insured but do not plan to use their health care benefits to pay for services of their ability to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of the expected cost of their medical care.

The Good Faith Estimate you will receive in your intake paperwork outlines the expected costs of therapy based on what is reasonably known at the time, so you have a sense of the expected costs in advance. If you have any questions, we can discuss them before or during your first session.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
